VISA INFORMATION
In conjunction with Decision No.103/2003 signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia with regard to the new visa policy, from the 1st February 2004, there will be a change of regulation on the Visa-Free Short Visit to Indonesia for Tourism.
There are nationals of 11 countries who are entitled to visit Indonesia without a visa as follows:

Note
Please be advised that Visa-Free Short Visits may only be extended upon approval from the Minister of Justice and Human Rights/Director General of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia based on natural disaster, illness or accident, but cannot be transferred to another type of visa. Overstay visitors incur to pay a penalty of US$20.- per day (for under 60 days stay) whilst over 60 days stay will be a 5 (five) year prison sentence or a fine of IDF25.000.000 (local currency).
On the other hand, from the 1st July 2006, citizens of 52 countries mentioned below can be granted tourist visa for less than 30 days since the date of entering indonesia or arriving at the airport/harbour immigration office.

Note:
Those whose countries ARE NOT included in the above list or those who wish to stay longer than 30 days in Indonesia, should apply for their visa in advance, at the Consular Section of Indonesian Embassy in Madrid
Visa on Arrival fees:
Maximum visit of 7 days : US$. 10,00
Maximum visit of 30 days : US$. 25,00
Days of staying period in Indonesia are always begun since the entering date to the country´s territory
LOCATIONS TO ENTER INDONESIA WITH VISA ON ARRIVAL
Please be advised that Visa On Arrival may only be extended upon approval from the Director General of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia in case of natural disaster, illnes or accident, but cannot be transferred to another type of visa. Overstay visitors incur to pay a penalty of US$.20,00 per day/person (for under 60 days stay) whilst over 60 days stay will be a 5 (five) year prison sentence or a fine of IDR.25.000.000 (local currency).
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA)
1. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months as from the date of entry into Indonesia.
2. Onward or return tickets are compulsory
3. No compulsory vaccinations
4. Visitors must enter through the following airports and seaports in Indonesia.

Please note that these regulations do not apply for foreigners/expatriates (including members of their family) who are assigned/based in Indonesia.
Visa is required and should be applied for before hand.

REQUIREMENTS AND COST FOR VISA APPLICATION
TRANSIT VISA (vessel crew)
1. Application should be filled completely and signed in the last page ***
2. Original passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months as from the date of entry into Indonesia
3. One copy of the first passport´s page
4. Two recent colour photographs (passport size)
5. One copy of Residence Card in Spain or Certificate of Registration (Certificado de Empadronamiento) or NIE (for foreigners). If the Identity Card is under renovation, the renovation receipt issued by authority of Spain must be presented
6. One copy of airplane tickets (return)

2. Applicant must apply for authorization letter to the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia in the city where the company is located
3. Letter of Invitation by the Company in Indonesia.

5. For business, applicant must attach the commercial activities carried out

LIMITED VISA OF RESIDENCE
Same as TRANSIT visa (point , 1 – 6) with addition
1. A copy of the booking of accommodation, the first 3 nights or s, ponsor letter of accommodation during their stay in Indonesia
2. Applicant must apply for authorization letter to the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia in the city where the company is located
3. Letter of Invitation by the Company in Indonesia and letter from the agency or the company where applicant works
4. For business, applicant must attach the commercial activities carried out
5. Cost :
- Max of 6 months : € 50.00
- Max of 1 year : € 100.00
- Max of 2 years : € 175.00

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. For addition, if is necessary, the Consular Section has the right to request additional requirements or other documents.
2. For vessel crew, when applying for a visa must provide the Book of Sailor
3. Times to process are 5 days (7 days in summer) since The Consular Section of this Embassy receives the complete documents (not lack of any requirements and if applicant doesn’t need an approval from the Directorate General of Immigration or the Competent authorities in Indonesia.
4. Form to apply:
· Personally, or
· Person with authorization, or
· Through the company agent for handling the visa, or
· Courier service as MRW or NACEX with return services (NO OTHER MESSENGER NOR BY POST).
5. Form of payment: CASH, since the day on November 17, 2008.
6. Any type of visa is not valid for the area of Poso, Moluccas and Papua (except has a license / authorization from the Directorate General of Immigration and relevant authorities in Indonesia.
7. For certain nationalities or countries, as requested by any visa, you must have an approval from the Directorate General of Immigration or the appropriate authorities in Indonesia.
